Simba assistant coach Suleiman Matola has returned to Dar es Salaam to attend a special CAF course for coaches holding an A Licence.
Matola had been in South Africa with the Simba squad, which is holding a special training camp in Polokwane as part of preparations for their upcoming matches following the FIFA international break.
Matola confirmed that the course will last three days, prompting him to return to Dar es Salaam while leaving his fellow members of the technical bench, led by head coach Steve Barker, to continue with the 10-day training camp.
“I am returning to Dar es Salaam today (yesterday). I have a short three-day CAF A Licence course. It is normal for coaches to undertake refresher training from time to time.”
“I will be there for a few days alongside various other coaches to make sure I gain something new,” Matola was quoted by Mwanaspoti as saying.
Matola completed his coaching studies last year and obtained his CAF A Licence. He has now returned for a refresher course.
