After the Confederation of African Football (CAF) maintained its position that the first-leg CAF Champions League qualifying match between 15 de Agosto and Simba must be played at Uhuru Stadium, the Angolan side has reportedly moved to prevent fans from attending the match.
15 de Agosto will be the hosts for the first-leg encounter, scheduled for October 20 at 4:00 p.m.
Reliable reports indicate that the club is insisting that supporters should not be allowed into the stadium, as it wants the match to be played behind closed doors.
As the home team, 15 de Agosto has the final say on the issue of spectators. However, it is clear that a certain number of fans will have to be permitted entry to support the visiting team, Simba.
Simba will host the second leg on October 25, when Uhuru Stadium is expected to be packed to capacity.
