Simba Communications and Media Manager Ahmed Ali has said the club are determined to settle the score against Fountain Gate in their NBC Mainland Premier League match scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, at Tanzanite Kwaraa Stadium in Manyara.
Simba return to Tanzanite Kwaraa, a venue that holds no fond memories for the Msimbazi Reds after they were held to a 1-1 draw the last time they played there.
Ahmed said Simba are a different team this time around, expressing strong confidence that they will come away with a victory.
"We know that we have never won at Tanzanite Kwaraa Stadium, but this is a completely different Simba."
"This is a new Simba that you cannot play against for 90 minutes without being punished. It is a Simba that will not let you get through 90 minutes without feeling the heat."
"For them to get a draw against Simba, they will have to defend really well. Can they stop Oura for 90 minutes, stop Libasse for 90 minutes, stop Chama for 90 minutes? If the plans change, the coach could bring on Keletso Makgalwa. Will they be able to stop him for 90 minutes too?"
"Perhaps only if God has not planned for us to win that match. But given the quality we have, no past record will stand in Simba's way," Ahmed said.
