Christian Atsu's agent has announced heartbreaking news after two pairs of Atsu's shoes were found in the rubble in Turkey.
The former Newcastle and Chelsea player was last seen at his home in Kahramanmaras in a building that was demolished by the earthquake.
Through Twitter, Agent Nana Sechere has said;
"I am in the area where the building where Atsu lived, I am with his family, continuing to search for him, until now we have managed to find the right place where his room was and we have found two pairs of his shoes"
It will be remembered that a few moments after the earthquake occurred, information believed to be given by the Vice President of the Hatayaspor club he was playing for spread rapidly internationally stating that Atsu was found with injuries.
However, one day later his agent gave a statement that he has no contact with the player and continues to look for him.
This confusion of information has brought a big conflict between the Hatayaspor club and Atsu's agent.
"The rescue is going very slowly, a lot of help is still needed, we also need language translators, it is sad that his club is not here to help us" added Sechere
