The General Secretary of Ihefu, Zagalo Chalamila said that the team's decision to announce veteran coach John Simkoko as the Head Coach is due to their coach Zubery Katwila not having the qualifications to sit on the bench
Zagalo said after the departure of Juma Mwambusi, they were given a chance Katwila to lead between four and five games, and after that they were required to find a coach with the required criteria.
"Many think we don't trust Katwila, but they fail to understand that he has a 'B' license and to sit on the bench you need to have an 'A' license from CAF, that's why you see he's back in class to study," he said
Zagalo said they have high hopes for the existing cooperation between Katwila and Simkoko while making it clear that his experience will be of great benefit to their team which has had good results so far.
