Simba Management indicated that they have the ability to sign any player they want to strengthen the squad as they have the money to do so
Simba expects to earn more than Shs. five billion from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for the preparation of the Super League competition but there is money they will get from reaching the quarter-finals of the CAF Champions League this season amounting to 900,000 US Dollars (more than Sh. 2.1 billion).
Simba is expected to use most of the money to improve their squad for the new Premier League season.
Simba's Information and Communication Manager, Ahmed Ally, has said that they are conducting their registration process very carefully.
"We have not yet made clear the players we want, even though there are names of the players we want, the management is careful to make strong registrations because we have the money"
"We have a big muscle if you combine the funds of the Sponsors and our investor, Mohammed Dewji, funds of the Super League and other sources, this will make us aggressive in registering the players we want," said Ahmed p>
