The head coach of Singida FG Hans van Pluijm has congratulated his players for showing an excellent performance in the Community Shield semi-final game against Simba
The game was played at the Mkwakwani stadium yesterday ended with Simba winning on penalty shootout 4-2 after a goalless draw
Pluijm said they deserved to get more than what they got while blaming referee Amina Kyando
"I congratulate my players, we had a good game today. I can't blame them for losing on penalties. We played well, especially in the first half, we scored a goal which in my opinion was legitimate, I don't know why the referee refused. But also in the last minutes we had a good chance and the referee ended the game when our player was preparing to hit the ball"
"From the beginning we said, we didn't just come to participate in the Community Shield, but we came to compete. We are going to prepare for the game to find the third winner against Azam Fc," said Pluijm
