Yanga head coach Miguel Gamondi has said that preparations for the Champions League game against CBE SA have been completed and the remaining work is for the players to fulfill their duty to take Yanga to the group stage
Speaking at a press conference earlier today, Gamondi said in his squad he has the best and most experienced players and every player knows the importance of qualifying for the group stage of the championship
Gamondi has said that he does not want to put his players under pressure due to what happened in the last game where they lost many open chances, but he realizes that tomorrow's game they will do their best
"Last match we really missed a lot of chances. But if the coach misses a chance, the important thing is to have a team capable of creating a lot of chances"
"The truth is that tomorrow we have to use the chances we get. I don't want to give my players pressure if we missed a lot of chances, I know they will play calmly but the important thing is to make sure we use the chances we get"
"The condition of my players is good, we have prepared very well and we have had time to prepare. I have very big players who can do better than our opponents, I know my players know the importance of qualifying for the group stage," said Gamondi
Speaking on behalf of his teammates, defender Ibrahim Bacca has said that it is a great honor for him to play an important match on home soil
Bacca has said that the players have great motivation and hope to emerge victorious in the game
"We thank God that most of the players are safe. Today we are doing the last practice. We hope that we will finish safely. I am very happy that this game will be held here in Zanzibar and I have great hopes for that game"
