Yanga has claimed the NBC Premier League title for the fourth consecutive season after defeating Simba 2-0 in a match held at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium.
It was a one-sided affair for much of the second half, with Yanga securing the win through goals from Pacome Zouzoua — who scored from the penalty spot after being fouled in the box — and later assisted the second goal scored by Clement Mzize.
This victory not only highlights Yanga’s superiority over their archrivals Simba, but also brings immense joy to Yanga fans, having lifted the trophy right in front of their biggest rivals.
