Al Nasr have reached an official agreement with Simba SC to sign forward Kibu Denis after the Libyan club finalized personal terms with the Tanzania national team star, ‘Taifa Stars,’ yesterday.
Simba had earlier shown their willingness to sell Kibu Denis, leaving only personal terms between the player and Al Nasr to be agreed upon. The delay in finalizing the deal was due to the player being in Angola with Simba for their CAF Champions League Group Stage match.
However, after the forward returned to Tanzania, the Libyan giants met with his representatives on Monday, February 9, 2026, and successfully reached a full agreement. Kibu is now set to join Al Nasr.
The transfer will see Simba earn $300,000 (approximately TSh 776 million) for releasing the player, whose contract had only five months remaining.
Kibu Denis’ agent, Carlos Sylivester, stated that any official communication regarding the striker will be issued by Simba.
At Al Nasr, Kibu will reunite with two former Simba teammates, midfielder Fabrice Ngoma and striker Steven Mukwala. He will also link up in Libya with fellow Tanzanian star Stephane Aziz Ki, who plays for Al Ittihad.
