Dube opened the scoring in the 41st minute by finishing a cross from Maxi Nzengeli. In the 45th minute, he was fouled inside the penalty area by Chukwu, prompting the referee to award a penalty which Allan Okello confidently converted.
In the second half, Yanga continued to dominate the game and managed to add a third goal through Mudathir Yahya, who finished a rebound from goalkeeper Metacha Mnata after a shot from Dube.
The victory takes Wananchi to 32 points after 12 matches, further cementing their place at the top of the league standings.
In another match played in Mbeya Region, Azam FC were held to a goalless draw by Tanzania Prisons.
