European Transfer Rumors Heat Up Ahead of Summer Window

The European transfer market continues to heat up as major clubs begin planning how to strengthen their squads before the summer window opens. Today, Friday, March 13, 2026, several reports have emerged involving big-name players and coaches in European football.

Barcelona Monitoring Erling Haaland

Barcelona are reportedly holding preliminary talks with Manchester City to ensure they are in a strong position to sign Norway striker Erling Haaland (25) if he becomes available for transfer this summer.

However, Haaland’s agent, Rafaela Pimenta, dismissed the rumors during a television interview in Spain, stressing that there are currently no immediate plans involving the star moving to Camp Nou.

Manchester United Tracking Tonali and Fernandes

Manchester United continue their search for a new central midfielder and have now added Newcastle United and Italy star Sandro Tonali (25) to their shortlist.

In addition, United are also monitoring West Ham United’s young midfielder Mateus Fernandes (21). Reports suggest the player could seek a move in the summer if West Ham are relegated this season.

Newcastle Target Lamine Camara

Newcastle United have stepped up their efforts to sign Monaco and Senegal midfielder Lamine Camara (22), who is considered one of the emerging talents in European football.

At the same time, the club is still searching for a new striker despite spending more than ÂŁ120 million on signings last season. Among the young talents being monitored is Cologne winger and Germany youth international Said El Mala (19).

Lewandowski’s Future Sparks Debate

Veteran Poland striker Robert Lewandowski (37) could leave Barcelona at the end of this season, with Juventus reportedly among the clubs interested in his services.

The striker’s contract is expected to expire in the summer, opening the possibility for him to take on a new challenge in Italian football.

Liverpool Dismiss Wirtz Rumors

At Liverpool, club insiders have dismissed reports claiming that German attacking midfielder Florian Wirtz (22) could be sold to Real Madrid after just one season at Anfield.

It is believed that Liverpool still have long-term plans for the player and have no intention of letting him leave at this time.

Klopp Could Return to Coaching

Former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is reportedly considering leaving his current role as Red Bull’s head of football.

Reports from Germany suggest that Klopp could return to the dugout as head coach of the Germany national team after the next World Cup.

Arsenal Target Livramento

Arsenal continue to monitor Newcastle United and England full-back Tino Livramento (23) as part of their plans to strengthen their defense.

Meanwhile, Newcastle veteran defender Kieran Trippier (35) could still be offered a new contract at the club despite his advancing age.

Possible Changes at Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur are still searching for a solution on the coaching bench, with former Everton and Burnley manager Sean Dyche mentioned among those who could take over if Igor Tudor leaves.

However, Dyche may require a longer-term guarantee before accepting the role. Former Spurs players Robbie Keane and Ryan Mason are also being mentioned as alternative options.

Atletico Madrid Set Price for Julian Alvarez

Atletico Madrid are reportedly willing to sell their Argentina striker Julian Alvarez (26) to a Premier League club if they receive an offer of ÂŁ85 million.

However, the club has insisted they will not allow him to join Barcelona despite speculation linking him with the La Liga giants.

Inter Milan Open to Offers for Bastoni and Barella

Inter Milan could also make major changes to their squad this summer. Reports indicate that the club is willing to listen to offers for defender Alessandro Bastoni (26) and midfielder Nicolo Barella (29) if suitable bids are made.
