PSG reach the UEFA Champions League final for the second consecutive time.

Paris Saint-Germain have successfully reached the UEFA Champions League final for the second consecutive season after a 1–1 draw against Bayern Munich, progressing 6–5 on aggregate. The match was highly competitive, with Bayern pushing hard in front of their home fans, but PSG showed the composure and experience of defending champions.

Ousmane Dembélé scored a crucial goal for PSG with great skill, before Harry Kane equalized late in the game to give hope to the Allianz Arena crowd. However, Bayern’s efforts were not enough to stop PSG from advancing to the final of Europe’s biggest club competition.

One of PSG’s standout performers was Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who delivered an excellent display with his pace, creativity, and constant threat to Bayern’s defense. Willian Pacho was also solid at the back, calmly dealing with many of Bayern’s attacking moves.

The match was not without controversy, as Nuno Mendes appeared to handle the ball while already on a yellow card. Bayern fans called for a second booking, but the referee instead awarded a foul against Konrad Laimer. There were also complaints about a possible handball by PSG’s João Neves that looked like a clear penalty, though officials saw it differently. These decisions sparked strong protests from Bayern, while PSG breathed a sigh of relief.

The UEFA Champions League 2025/26 final is now officially set, with Paris Saint-Germain facing Arsenal FC at the Puskás Aréna in Budapest on May 30, 2026. Arsenal come into the match chasing their first European title after a 20-year wait, while PSG aim to extend their reign as defending champions.
