Real Madrid Fine Tchouaméni and Valverde After Training Ground Clash

Real Madrid have reportedly taken disciplinary action against midfielders Aurélien Tchouaméni and Federico “Fede” Valverde by fining each player €500,000, equivalent to more than TSh1.5 billion, following an internal incident at the club.

The punishment comes after the two players were involved in a serious altercation that reportedly caused tension within the Real Madrid squad during a training session at the club’s Valdebebas training center in Madrid.

According to reports, the dispute began during training after a heavy challenge between the players before escalating further inside the dressing room.

The reports add that members of the coaching staff and several players had to intervene in order to calm the situation.

Despite the seriousness of the incident, Real Madrid have reportedly decided not to suspend either player from upcoming matches after both submitted formal apologies to the club’s management, coaching staff, and teammates.

A source from within the club stated that the decision was made as part of protecting discipline and the reputation of Real Madrid.

“No player is above the rules at Real Madrid. Discipline is the foundation of this club’s success,” the source reportedly said.

The fine is believed to be among the largest financial disciplinary punishments ever issued by the club for misconduct.

The incident has sparked widespread debate among football fans around the world, with some praising the club for taking strong action while others questioned the decision not to suspend the players.

However, Real Madrid officials reportedly believe the matter has now been fully resolved after both players showed remorse and promised not to repeat such behavior.
