Former Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi is expected to arrive in Casablanca to complete the final steps of his move to Moroccan giants Raja Club Athletic (Raja CA).
According to reports, Nabi and Raja CA have already reached an initial agreement on a contract running until the end of next season, with only minor administrative details remaining before an official announcement is made.
The Tunisian coach is set to replace Fadlu Davids on the technical bench of the Moroccan club. Raja have been monitoring Nabi for some time due to his strong track record in African football and extensive experience in North African football.
Nabi is a well-known figure in East African football circles, having enjoyed major success with Yanga, where he led the club to back-to-back Tanzania Mainland Premier League titles and reached the CAF Confederation Cup final in 2023. He later moved to AS FAR in Morocco before joining Kaizer Chiefs in South Africa in 2024.
Although his spell at Kaizer Chiefs came with challenges, Nabi managed to guide the club to the Nedbank Cup title, ending a long trophy drought and further strengthening his reputation as one of Africa’s respected coaches.
