The Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) has officially announced the opening of the 2026/27 transfer window for clubs competing in the NBC Premier League, NBC Championship, First League, NBC U20 Premier League, and the Women's Premier League.
According to a statement released by TFF earlier today, the transfer window opened on July 6, 2026, and will close on August 15, 2026, at 11:59 PM.
TFF explained that players can be registered through the FIFA Connect registration system in three ways: a permanent or loan transfer from one club to another, renewal of an existing registration with the same club, or the registration of a new player in the system.
For players being registered for the first time, clubs are required to submit a valid passport or national identification document, an employment contract, a transfer or release letter, a medical certificate, a passport-sized photograph, and proof of payment.
Players renewing their contracts or moving between clubs on either a permanent transfer or a loan must submit an employment contract, a transfer or release letter, a medical certificate, a passport-sized photograph, and proof of payment.
For players joining from abroad, clubs must provide a passport, an International Transfer Certificate (ITC), an employment contract, a valid residence and work permit, a medical certificate, a passport-sized photograph, and proof of payment.
TFF has urged clubs to ensure that all required documents are accurate and complete when submitting registration applications.
The federation also advised any club experiencing difficulties with the FIFA Connect registration system to contact the TFF Competitions Department for assistance.
Finally, TFF stressed that there will be no extension of the transfer window and urged all clubs to complete their transfers and player registrations before the official deadline.
