Young Africans (Yanga) have completed the signing of 18-year-old Juma Abushiri from Fountain Gate, beating Belgian club KAA Gent to secure the highly rated youngster's signature.
According to reports, the Tanzanian champions agreed a deal worth TSh 90 million for the transfer and paid an additional TSh 100 million to Fountain Gate to buy out the remaining five years of the midfielder's contract.
Although Yanga are yet to officially announce the transfer, sources indicate that Abushiri signed a three-year contract with the club earlier today in Arusha, completing a move that fended off interest from the Belgian outfit.
