Azam FC have completed the signing of Sudan international striker John Mano from Libyan Premier League side Al-Akhdar, adding another attacking option as the club continues to strengthen its squad ahead of the 2026/27 season.
Mano is no stranger to Tanzanian football, having previously visited the country with Al Hilal SC under head coach Florent Ibenge before making the move to Al-Akhdar. According to reports, his decision to join Azam FC was heavily influenced by Ibenge, who has since taken charge of the Chamazi-based club.
The experienced forward is expected to bring quality, international experience, and greater firepower to Azam FC's attack as the club aims to build a highly competitive squad for the upcoming domestic campaign and continental competitions.
