Young Africans SC (Yanga) have bolstered their attacking lineup after completing the signing of prolific Namibian striker Peter Shalulile from South African club Mamelodi Sundowns.
Shalulile arrives at Yanga with an outstanding goal-scoring record in South Africa's Premier Soccer League (PSL), where he established himself as one of the competition's most consistent and dangerous forwards over several seasons.
During his time at Mamelodi Sundowns, he played a key role in the club's success, helping them win multiple league titles while also finishing among the league's top scorers on several occasions.
The signing is expected to significantly strengthen Yanga's squad ahead of the new Tanzanian Premier League season and the CAF Champions League campaign. Yanga supporters are optimistic that Shalulile's experience, leadership, and finishing ability will help the club compete for domestic silverware and make a strong impact on the continental stage.
For Mamelodi Sundowns, Shalulile's departure brings to an end a highly successful spell at the club, where he established himself as one of the greatest strikers to have played in South African football.
