Tanzania Women’s National Team, Twiga Stars, have officially resumed preparations for their second group-stage match of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON 2026) after conducting a recovery training session today following their opening game against South Africa yesterday.
The training session was held at the Annexes Mohamed V Stadium in Casablanca, Morocco, where the technical bench focused on helping players regain their fitness levels and recover from the intensity of the previous match.
Twiga Stars have now shifted their full focus to their upcoming match against Burkina Faso, scheduled for July 31, with a positive result expected to boost Tanzania’s chances of progressing to the next stage of the tournament.
The team is set to continue with tactical preparations in the coming days as they work on improving areas that need attention and enter the match with confidence and determination to secure a good result.
