Young Africans SC have opened talks with 25-year-old Ivorian midfielder Oumar Komara to assess the possibility of signing him from South African side Golden Arrows ahead of the 2026/27 season.
Komara is valued for his versatility, being capable of playing both as a defensive midfielder and a centre-back, making him an attractive option to add strength and depth to Yanga’s squad.
Reports indicate that negotiations between the two parties are ongoing, as the Yanga management continues to identify players who fit the requirements of head coach Manqoba Mngqithi before the transfer window closes.
Yanga are expected to sign two central midfielders during this transfer window as part of their strategy to strengthen the squad for the 2026/27 campaign, in which they will compete in the Tanzania Premier League, the CRDB Federation Cup, and the CAF Champions League.
