Hon. Ridhiwani Kikwete has reportedly been appointed to the Young Africans SC (Yanga) Board of Trustees, following changes within the club's governing body. The restructuring is said to be part of efforts to strengthen the board ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The Yanga Board of Trustees is responsible for safeguarding the club's assets, resources, and long-term interests on behalf of its members. The five-member body also oversees key governance and administrative matters in accordance with the club's constitution.
Kikwete is widely regarded as a close supporter of Yanga, having regularly attended the club's activities and events over the years. His appointment is expected to reinforce the Board of Trustees as the Tanzanian champions prepare for the new domestic campaign and continental competitions.
