Uhuru Stadium in Dar es Salaam has today transformed into a hub of entertainment and celebration, with thousands of Yanga fans turning up to witness the climax of the eighth edition of Mwananchi Week, popularly known as Yanga Day.
The festival has begun with various activities and celebrations, with entertainment, sports and special events taking center stage on a day that has been eagerly awaited by the club's members and supporters.

Several popular Tanzanian artists are expected to entertain fans with live musical performances. Among those scheduled to take the stage are Dudubaya, Madee, Chid Benz, Ndaro, Kidensa and others, who are expected to add excitement to the celebrations.
In addition to the music, fans will watch curtain-raiser matches involving Yanga legends, the club's staff team against artists, as well as youth teams.
New Squad to Be Unveiled
The biggest attraction of Yanga Day will be the official unveiling of Yanga SC's full squad for the 2026/27 season.
