The Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) has officially introduced a new digital ticketing system for the Community Shield match between traditional rivals Simba and Yanga.
The new system is aimed at making it easier for fans to access tickets while enhancing security and controlling stadium entry during the highly anticipated match, which is expected to attract a large crowd.
System officially launched today
Speaking to journalists today, August 10, 2026, TFF Information Officer Clifford Ndimbo said the system officially became operational today, allowing fans to use it to purchase tickets for the match.
Fans are required to use the system through the official website, www.tff-tickets.com, where they can access various important details about the tickets and the match itself.
Information available on the system includes key details such as the type of stand, seat number, and the competition to which the ticket relates.
Each fan can purchase up to four tickets
According to Ndimbo, each fan will be allowed to purchase a maximum of four tickets through the system.
The move is expected to make it easier for fans attending the match with family members, friends, or groups, as one person will be able to complete the purchase of several tickets at once.
TFF said the arrangement was introduced to meet fans' needs while ensuring that the ticket purchasing process remains simple and controlled.
Security measures also in place
In addition to simplifying ticket purchases, the new system has also been designed to enhance security at the stadium.
Ndimbo said there are special systems in place to verify the validity of tickets, with the aim of ensuring that everyone entering the stadium has a valid ticket.
The verification process is expected to help reduce challenges that may arise from the use of invalid tickets, while TFF is urging fans to use the official system.
