Azam FC have officially announced the departure of four players who were part of the club's squad last season, as the Chamazi-based side continues to reshape its squad ahead of the 2026/27 season. Through a farewell message titled “ADIEU”, the club thanked the players for their contributions and wished them success in the next chapters of their careers.
The players leaving the club are goalkeeper Issa Fofana, defender Ben Zitoune Tayeb, as well as Baraket Hmidi and Cheickna Diakite. The quartet played different roles for Azam FC during various stages of the previous campaign before the club decided not to extend their stays.
Their departures form part of Azam FC's ongoing squad restructuring as the club looks to build a stronger and more competitive team. The management is also continuing its recruitment plans, with new signings expected to strengthen the squad for the Mainland Tanzania Premier League and continental competitions during the 2026/27 season.
