Yanga SC are on the verge of completing the signing of attacking midfielder Stephane Aziz Ki after Al Ittihad accepted the final offer submitted by the Tanzania Mainland champions.
According to reports, Yanga have been in negotiations with the club for several weeks over the signing of the Burkina Faso international, with the final stages of the deal now reportedly reached.
Earlier today, Yanga completed the sale of striker Laurindo Aurelio ‘Depu’ to Angolan club Petro Atletico. The funds generated from the transfer have strengthened Yanga’s position in their efforts to complete the signing of Aziz Ki.
Aziz Ki, who has remained in Tanzania while awaiting the outcome of his transfer situation, now appears closer to officially returning to the Yanga squad after his club reportedly granted him permission to join the Wananchi.
The player has been an important part of Yanga’s squad in recent seasons, known for his goalscoring ability, chance creation and capacity to influence matches in the final third.
The remaining step is reportedly to complete the final formalities before Yanga officially unveil Aziz Ki as their player.
