Turkish club Bursaspor have not given up in their pursuit of dangerous Simba SC winger Anicet Oura after submitting an improved offer that could persuade the Msimbazi Reds' management to sell the player.
Bursaspor had already expressed interest in signing Oura, with reports from Turkey confirming that the club had opened negotiations for the Ivory Coast international.
After their initial offer was rejected by Simba's management, Bursaspor have returned with a new bid worth $1 million, estimated at more than TSh 2.6 billion. Recent reports indicate that the offer has now been submitted to Simba.
The bid could put Simba in a difficult position, particularly given the player's value and the limited time remaining before the transfer window closes.
Oura has been one of Simba's key players since joining the club in January 2026. The 26-year-old moved to Simba after playing in leagues across Africa, Asia and Europe.
The Ivory Coast winger can operate in several attacking positions on the flanks, making him an important part of Simba's plans. He has also represented the Ivory Coast national team.
Bursaspor, meanwhile, have been monitoring Oura for some time. Reports in July indicated that the Turkish club had already begun direct negotiations over a possible move from Simba.
All eyes are now on Simba's management to see whether they will accept Bursaspor's proposal or decide to keep Oura for the remainder of the season.
If Simba decide to sell the winger for the reported fee, their biggest challenge will be finding a replacement quickly. The Msimbazi Reds are also reportedly planning to strengthen their attacking department as well as the defensive midfield position.
