Simba SC are reportedly set to complete the signing of three new players, with the Msimbazi Reds' management working quickly to finalise the deals before the transfer window closes tonight, Saturday, August 15, 2026.
Among the players expected to join Simba is JKT Tanzania striker Paul Peter Kasunda, 27. Kasunda has already agreed personal terms with Simba, with the club now finalising negotiations with JKT Tanzania before officially unveiling him.
The striker is expected to strengthen Simba's attack after an impressive campaign last season, when he scored eight goals for JKT Tanzania.
Simba turned to Kasunda after their attempt to sign striker Pape Abdou N’diaye failed, with his current club unwilling to sell him during the current transfer window.
Alongside Kasunda, Simba have already completed the signing of 18-year-old centre-back Ibrahim Nindi, who played for KMC last season. Nindi has joined Simba on a three-year contract as a free agent after his contract with KMC expired.
Nindi already has a connection with Simba, having developed through the club's U20 youth team before moving to Mashujaa FC and later KMC. He has also represented Singida Black Stars in the CECAFA Kagame Cup.
Nindi's signing appears to be part of Simba's strategy to build a squad around young players capable of serving the club for many years.
Another player who has already arrived at Msimbazi is Ismail Mgunda, who was signed from Mashujaa FC. Simba have therefore been working at pace to strengthen their squad during the final days of the transfer window.
