Barcelona have reached an agreement to sign Spanish international midfielder Rodri from Manchester City in one of the biggest transfers of the summer window. According to Fabrizio Romano, an agreement has been reached after Manchester City gave the green light to Barcelona’s latest offer.
Rodri, regarded as one of the world’s best midfielders in recent years, is now set to leave Manchester City after several highly successful years at the club. Barcelona had been closely monitoring his situation and gradually improved their offers before reaching an agreement with City. Reports suggest the transfer is worth around €60–70 million, with the final paperwork expected to be completed before the move becomes official.
