In the much-anticipated match, Yanga SC recorded a convincing 4–1 victory over Coastal Union. Albert Kangwanda, Max Nzengeli, Mudathir Yahya, and Mohamed Hussein ‘Zimbwe’ scored for Yanga, while Gradi Lassa got Coastal Union’s goal. The victory takes Yanga to six points with a five-goal difference, putting them at the top of the standings.

After today’s matches, Yanga lead the table with six points and a five-goal difference, followed by Simba SC with six points and a three-goal difference. Singida Black Stars are third with four points, Polisi Tanzania are fourth with four points, while Azam FC complete the top five with four points.
