Simba SC vice-captain and defender Rushine De Reuck has reassured the club’s supporters, promising that the team will perform better this season than they did last season.
De Reuck made the remarks as Simba travelled to Malawi for the first leg of their CAF Champions League preliminary-round tie, stressing the team’s determination to perform strongly in their continental campaign.
Simba will take on Malawi’s Mighty Wanderers on Sunday in what is expected to be a highly competitive encounter, with the Reds of Msimbazi aiming to secure a positive result ahead of the second leg.
De Reuck’s message is expected to boost confidence among Simba supporters as the club begins its quest for a strong run in Africa this season.
