Zambia interim head coach George Lwandamina has announced a 27-man squad for the team’s two AFCON 2027 qualifying matches, with Yanga SC striker Albert Kangwanda included in the Chipolopolo squad.
Zambia will begin their campaign away against Algeria on September 25, 2026, before returning home to face Togo on September 29 at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola. Zambia are in Group I alongside Algeria, Togo and Burundi.
Kangwanda has been included among the forwards alongside other notable names such as Patson Daka of Hamburg, Fashion Sakala of Al Fayha and Kingston Mutandwa of Servette.
