The winger joined Yanga in August 2025 from Ivorian club Zoman FC after impressing in the Ivory Coast Premier League. Due to competition for places within the Yanga squad, he was sent out on loan to JS Kabylie during the January 2026 transfer window.
Before moving to Tanzania, Ecua had been named the Ivory Coast Premier League Player of the Season for 2024/25, an achievement that attracted interest from several clubs before he eventually signed for Yanga.
