Simba SC chairman Murtaza Mangungu has revealed that the club expects to announce its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) soon as part of implementing the club’s constitution, which requires the appointment of a chief executive to oversee its operations.
Speaking to journalists during an official press conference, Mangungu said the process of finding a new executive is ongoing. However, he did not disclose the candidate’s name or provide a specific date for the announcement.
The CEO position is crucial to the club’s administration, covering commercial operations, marketing and the implementation of institutional plans off the pitch. Simba SC has experienced changes in the role in recent years, with Barbara Gonzalez among the executives who have served the club.
