Simba Sports Club has continued preparations for its general elections scheduled for January 3, 2027, after the club’s Electoral Committee announced the leadership positions that eligible members will be able to contest.
In a public statement, the Electoral Committee said the announcement was issued in accordance with Article 37 of the Simba Sports Club Constitution of 2018, as amended on November 30, 2025, alongside Articles 26(12) and 27 of the same constitution.
The position of club chairman is expected to attract significant interest among members, with the elections set to determine the leaders who will oversee the club during the next term.
The announcement marks another important step in the electoral process, as eligible members await further details regarding all the positions available and the procedures for submitting applications to contest.
The elections are scheduled to take place on January 3, 2027, in Dar es Salaam.
