Yanga head coach Manqoba Mngqithi says he is still not satisfied with his team's attacking efficiency due to their poor conversion of the chances they create.
Mngqithi made the remarks yesterday after Yanga defeated Madagascar's CFFA 4-0 in the first leg of their CAF Champions League group-stage qualifying tie.
"We played well. In the first half, we created more than seven chances, and perhaps we should have finished the game much earlier."
"However, I can see that our players still have a major problem when it comes to finishing. We cannot create so many chances and then fail to take advantage of them."
"That is not good because there will be matches when we will not create as many chances as we did today, and we will have to make the most of the few opportunities we get," Mngqithi said.
Mngqithi explained that during half-time, he spoke to his players about remaining composed and slowing down when they reached the CFFA penalty area.
Yanga went on to score three quick goals in the opening 10 minutes of the second half, securing the important away victory. They will now look to finish the job in Wednesday's return leg, where they will be playing at home.
