After returning from South Africa, the Simba squad are expected to enter camp for their final preparations ahead of their Mainland Premier League clash against Yanga on Saturday, October 10, at Uhuru Stadium.
Simba Manager Patrick Rweyemamu said the team returned safely with all players in good condition and will have approximately four days to complete their preparations for the Kariakoo Derby.
Libasse Injured?
Meanwhile, rumours have continued to circulate online regarding attacking midfielder Libasse Gueye, with reports claiming that he suffered an ankle injury during the friendly against Sekhukhune United.
However, there has been no official confirmation of the reports so far, leaving the matter as nothing more than speculation.
Libasse featured in both friendly matches Simba played in South Africa before returning to Tanzania yesterday, ready to complete the second phase of his preparations.
