The Aga Khan Institute of Health Services, Tanzania (AKHST) has entered into an agreement to provide medical services, training and general health examination with the Azam club for a period of two years.
The agreement was reached today, February 2023 at one of the meeting halls of the hospital in Dar es Salaam involving the Chief Executive Officers (CEO’s) of both institutions, Sisawo Konteh of AKHST and Abdul Kareem ‘Popat’ of Azam along with other leaders.
The agreement aims to strengthen the relationship between AKHST and Azam Fc, focusing on providing various medical services in all AKHST centers in the country including health testing, access to laboratory and radiation services, training, rehabilitation and diagnostic services , the promotion of health information and education, and more professional consultations for players, the technical bench and recognized staff of the club.
