Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has withdrawn from Norway's squad for their first Euro 2024 qualifier due to injuries.
Haaland, 22, suffered a thigh problem after scoring a hat-trick in City's 6-0 FA Cup quarter-final win over Burnley on Saturday.
It has been reported that he will miss Norway's matches against Spain and Georgia in Group A.
"Erling made this decision when he realized that he could not fight for the team," Norway coach Stale Solbakken said.
"Fortunately, we have young fighters, with talent and solidarity to make sure we do well in the next matches."
Norwegian national team doctor Ola Sand added: "After carrying out tests and examinations yesterday it was found that he will not make it to the match against Spain and Georgia. It is good that he received treatment at his club"
