After Yanga drowned TP Mazembe at their home Stadium in DR Congo by beating them 1-0, US Monastir had to win at least three goals against Real Bamako to be able to remove Yanga from the top of group D
Monastir won 2-1 and thus guaranteed Yanga to finish at the top of the group D with 13 points
Yanga will now have an advantage at the quarter-final stage by starting away and finishing the second match at home
Yanga, AS FAR, Malumo Galants and ASEC Mimosas have finished as group leaders while US Monastir, Rivers United, USM Alger and Pyramids have finished in second place
In the quarter final stage, Yanga will face Rivers United, USM Alger or Pyramids
The draw for the quarter-final will take place on Wednesday
