President Dk Samia Suluhu Hassan increased the motivation for Simba and Yanga participating in the CAF competition, each goal scored in their return matches from Sh5 million to Sh10 million
The goals that will be paid are those that will be scored within 90 or 120 minutes of the game and not those that will be from penalty shootout after the game ends to get the winner.
Government Chief Spokesman, Gerson Msigwa said President Samia wished Yanga and Simba well to ensure that they fight to continue to achieve success in the CAF competition
"President Samia Suluhu Hassan wishes the best for Simba and Yanga and has asked the players to put more effort on the field and use all their knowledge to ensure that they win the games to complete the quarter-finals so that they can successfully advance to the semi-finals where each goal will be Sh10 million," said Msigwa
