Coach of Al-Hilal Sc Florent Ibenge has been forced to leave Sudan to avoid ongoing unrest due to civil strife.
Through the French Embassy, Florent Ibenge and his family were lucky enough to get a place on the first convoy that evacuated foreign citizens from Sudan.
Speaking to the BBC news agency, the coach said;
"we are still worried especially when we think of the many others we left behind in Sudan, I think a lot about my players, I talk to them every day"
"All the players who are not citizens of Sudan have already left and are now heading to Egypt. When they arrive I will follow them, together with my assistants we will set up camp in Cairo"
"Players who are citizens of Sudan can decide to stay, if necessary I will change the structure of the team and players" explained Ibenge
