Former coach of Al Ahly Pitso Mosimane has led his club Al Ahli Saudi to win the first division league championship in Saudi Arabia following a 1-0 victory against Al-Qadisiyah FC
The victory has made Al Ahli reach 71 points in the league standings and secure the championship after its nearest rivals Al Akhdood (65 points) received a 3-2 defeat against Al Sahel SC and fell to third place while Al Hazem FC (67 points) rising to the second position
Mosimane took Al Ahli in fifth place and led them to win 18 matches, 6 draws and three defeats and promoted them to the Saudi Pro Premier League along with winning the historic championship
Mosimane has won his 19th trophy in his coaching life, being his first trophy outside of Africa.
