Chairman of the Christian Community of Tanzania (CCT), Dr. Fredrick Shoo has said it is time to put fandom aside and pray for Yanga, to be able to win the CAF Confederation Cup
Dr Shoo who is also the head of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Tanzania (KKKT) gave this opinion while speaking at the celebration of the CCT day, which was held nationally in the Congregation of Moshi in Kilimanjaro region and was attended by various religious and government leaders , including the Minister of Finance, Dr. Mwigulu Nchemba who was an official guest
Dr Shoo has said that Yanga represents the country of Tanzania in the African Confederation Cup, so all Tanzanians should put their local fans aside and pray for them and encourage them, so that they can succeed in winning the championship
Yanga lost the first leg of the final by losing 2-1 against USM Alger and the teams are expected to play again in Algeria on Saturday, July 03
