The Board of the Tanzania Premier League (TPLB) has met with the Executive Directors of the four clubs that got a chance to participate in the CAF International competition to plan how they should prepare for the new season of their competition
The teams that are Yanga, Simba that will participate in the Champions League, Azam FC and Singida Fountain Gate in the CAF Confederation Cup as well as the Continental League and the Azam Confederation Cup (ASFC)
The bosses met to see what their schedule is like and to advise them on how to register a wide squad and prepare well due to the state of the infrastructure in the country when they go to play away matches
The Chief Executive Officer of TPLB, Almasi Kasongo said that the teams need to prepare well for two things, economic and registration
"Our infrastructure is not very friendly, so these representatives of ours should prepare themselves very well from the economy to their registration, they should have a wide squad because the schedule can be tight, they go out to play abroad and then when they get here they have matches outside their regions"
"So there is every reason for them to organize themselves well in those two things and we will try to make a schedule that will be friendly to all teams to also avoid matches," said Kasongo
