The management of Simba has said that they use a good procedure according to contracts with players when it comes to the point of parting ways with a player whose contract with the club is still active, something that they are also implementing for midfielder Ismael Sawadogo
The statement was made by the Manager of the Information and Communications Department of Simba, Ahmed Ally, after claims that the club is unable to part with Sawadogo due to wanting to pay him Sh. 700 million to break his contract.
Ahmed has said that when a player signs a contract with Simba, there is an agreement at the beginning of how if he fails to continue serving the club or if the leaders need to break the contract, what should they do first.
He said Sawadogo has a one-year contract and they are in talks to not continue with him for the next season and after the consensus of both parties they will make it clear to officially part with him.
Ahmed said that Simba is being modernized in the negotiations and it is not a matter of money because before signing the contract there is an element that is clear when the player or club breaks the contract and what should be done before he is sold.
"I don't know where the issues of 700 million Sh. have come from because everything is clear, it is true that Sawadogo will not continue with him for the next season and we are in negotiations to terminate his contract," said Ahmed p>
He added that the issue of money to pay the player is not discussed but it is in the contract that they sign with him when he signs to serve the club and so far no player who has left them claims his rights.
