Yanga head coach Miguel Gamondi has worked in the training grounds to ensure that the attacking area makes good use of the opportunities created
Yanga was the best team in the Community Shield competition held last week in Tanga, but the Citizens failed to defend the Shield after failing to score a goal in the 90 minutes of the final game against Simba and losing in the penalty shootout
Yanga dominated the final game but missed a goal to ensure the Citizens won the Shield
After returning to Dar es Salaam, before starting the preparations for the first game in the Champions League against Asas Fc, Gamondi held a meeting with his forwards
The first test for strikers Hafiz Konkoni, Kennedy Musonda and Clement Mzize is on Sunday in the game against Asas Fc
Gamondi's hope is to see the attackers become calm and use the opportunity to score goals
"We're playing well and creating a lot of chances, but we're still losing a bit of composure in the front end, it's a good thing we saw this early, so we're working on it"
"We need to improve something and this is not for one person, it is between the coaches and the attackers, we believe there will be gradual changes," said Gamondi
