The annual general meeting of the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) held yesterday in Iringa region, has approved the first vice president of the Federation, Athuman Nyamlani to continue in that position
According to the constitution of the TFF, the term of appointment of a member of the executive committee of the federation is two years, so Nyamlani, since he held the position after being appointed by its President Wallace Karia, has completed his term this year
Constitutionally, Karia should have announced the appointment for the second time, Nyamlani and then the members of the general meeting to approve, which happened and so he will continue to serve in that position which also makes him chairman of the finance and planning committee of TFF
"And since he was one of the members I appointed, I was asking the members to approve Athuman Nyamlani to continue as the first vice president of TFF," said Karia
After Karia announced that, members of the TFF general meeting approved the appointment and thus Nyamlani will continue to serve for the next two years. In addition to Nyamlani, the members of the general meeting of TFF, have approved the appointment of Ahmed Mgoyi, Said Soud and Hawa Mniga to be appointed members of the executive committee of TFF.
