The World Football Federation (FIFA) has asked the Yanga club to pay Benchem United of Ghana an amount of 80,000 dollars (equivalent to Sh 217 million) due to the registration of winger Augustine Okrah
The verdict was given yesterday August 19, 2024 by FIFA, after Benchem United filed a claim against Yanga following the termination of the star's contract
Okrah was signed by Yanga in January this year in the registration of a small window
However, the star did not have a good time in the team suffering from frequent injuries as well as personal issues outside the field
Yanga has been given 45 days to complete the payment of Benchem United to avoid the penalty of non-registration
