Winger Elie Mpanzu is counting down the days before he joins Simba when the small registration window opens in December, it is understood
After the contractual tension between him and AS Vita, Mpanzu is now a free player after rejecting the offer to sign a new contract to continue serving AS Vita
He went to Europe to try out for several clubs but was unsuccessful
A reliable source from DR Congo has confirmed that Mpanzu will join Simba
"Mpanzu will come to Tanzania to play for Simba in January. There was a contract problem, that's why he was not signed in the last window"
"But he is currently a free agent, he has an agreement to join Simba in a small window," explained the source
In the last registration window, Simba made great efforts to sign Mpanzu but it was not possible after the player received an invitation to try out in Belgium a few days before the registration window closed
